Would you believe?

My cat is a blatant thief? Yes, when hubby fixes things around the house, my 9 month old kitten sits patiently by his side waiting for him to put down his pencil or screws. Oreo then quickly latches his teeth around them and runs off. We usually find the items a few days later behind the couch or under the baseboards.

I’m already looking forward to fall? A few days of 95+ heat and I’m done. I hate the sound of the airconditioner, I hate being outside in the sweltering heat (could be because I hate my legs and wearing shorts…well, let’s not go there, shall we?)

My hubby hasn’t been to the movie theater in 17 years? Sad, but true. And me, I can’t remember the last time I saw anything on the big screen that wasn’t for kids. I’m dying to see Indiana Jones and really want to see it in the theater - think this is the year I get hubby to cave?

I’m setting a page/word goal for the summer? Can it be done with 3 kids running amok and Mom’s taxi service going into guaranteed overtime mode? I’ll let you know!

See you next week - got anything I wouldn’t believe? Let me know.

    I’ll play.

    Would you believe…?

…my boss called everyone into a meeting on Friday to discuss his stance that when we clock in at 8:01 instead of 8:00, even if we stay longer to make up the minute or more, we’re taking advantage of him? Umm…yeah. Good thing I was elsewhere that day. I might have taken out a shiny dime, handed it to him and told him what to do with it.

…the skitten loves Cap’n Crunch? Or Apple Cinnamon Cheerios? Basically, any kids’ cereal dropped on the floor, she’ll bat it around between her paws like a hockey puck ’til she gets it in the corner. Then she quickly eats it before we can take it away from her.

…no one’s reserved my rubber room yet? I think I’ll have to put that on my To-Do list for next week; right after have mega-drinks with a newly pubbed author/former luncheon chairperson!

Hahaha! I’ll bet you can’t get mad at the kitty for being so cute. ;)

I totally hear you on both hating the heat and the disliking shorts! I couldn’t agree more!

My dog Chester ignores anything that falls on the floor until the Ridley the cat decides to investigate, then Chester swoops in to take it, whether he wants it or not.

Ridley has a thing for elastic bands. We have to hide them in a drawer or he’ll climb Mount Everest to get them.

We had a black lab years ago that loved the elastic bands on the kids underwear - weird, but funny. :)
